  I was asked to intern at this church for the summer of '16. I did not have to think twice about my answer. A resounding "Yes!" This was after 8 consecutive years of mission trips here to this church from Kansas City, MO. Through the 8 previous years, this church has proven to be Christ Centered and People Loving. They have been overwhelmingly generous EVERY YEAR WE'VE BEEN HERE, simply reflecting the generosity of our great God. Houses, automobiles, supplies, food, and even spending money have been given freely to us, encouraging and enabling us to continue to come back! What a great home away from home this church has been! It's been an incredibly strong and loving church, and accordingly, we'll be here for the time being! Common' over to Falcon! You will be encouraged!

  Watched a guy break my Dad's leg above his ankle in PURE anger! The preacher tells us we shouldn't be talking during a softball game.... No matter what is said violence should never be the answer. If the guy is telling you he only slid, he is a LIAR! You can't break a guy's leg where my fathers leg is broken by simply sliding. I watched the anger on his face as he charged full speed and jumped in the air to come down in a sort of karate kick to my dad's leg. All after the ball was caught and he was going to be out, CLEARLY OUT!
  I've prayed about this and have looked at my parts in this situation (thorn is no longer in my eye) I hope the young man who did this can fess up and come clean.
  
  It's more than a game...

  A solid Bible church that preaches/teaches from the Word. Excellent sermons delivered by a former school teacher who uses a patterned outline for easy note taking. A warm and friendly congregation. Has a small country-church feeling while being located on the edge of the big city. Since it's a small church, it can't offer all the programs that a mega-church can (if that's your thing). The music is a mixture of traditional hymns and some contemporary arrangements. If you like to serve the Lord, this is a place that always has room for ministry leaders. They have a real heart for children and global missions. It's organized with a Pastor, Elders (who help with spiritual needs), and Deacons (who help with the physical needs). The congregation votes on major decisions.
